Everyone on earth has something that another person needs. God has graced us on different levels and to varying degrees with an end goal – to fulfil purpose.

What has God blessed you with? Your life experiences? Exposure? Wit? Depth of insight? Comic disposition? Flair for writing? Spoken Word? Art? Someone needs to be blessed and inspired by it.

Someone somewhere needs what you’ve got. Rather than compare your gifting to that of others know this: while you are on your path to ‘better’, there are others still, who look up to you for inspiration where you are at this moment.

A mentor once told me this when I was hesitant to start Inspired For Impact after receiving the inspiration: “…Victoria, it is not about what you know but what God wants to do through you.”

You see, I haven’t always embraced my audience, but when I realised what great opportunities for impact I was missing out on and depriving others of, I plunged into the assignment. It has been a great experience of impact making so far, and I’m still on the journey.
